Musically, the highlight is some lovely California Beach Boys style harmonies that rise up after the second chorus, amidst a swell of banjos and saxophones.
It all represents an easy win for the super smart superstar, who can hitch a ride on a blockbuster brand and get an inescapable summer global hit with the minimum of promotion. I knew it… you knew it… we’ll all know it soon, whether you like it or not.
