The Chase is returning with celebrity Christmas specials later this year.
Bradley Walsh is set for another celebrity special of The Chase
The daytime quiz show is set to record for its festive editions at Elstree Film and TV Studios next month.
As confirmed in a listing from SRO Audiences, fans can apply for free tickets for the March 29 taping, with doors opening at 4:45pm and the show ending at around 8pm.
On the website, the company notes: “Although some shows are edited for a pre-watershed audience, the recordings themselves may contain post-watershed content.
The production have set a minimum age that they feel is appropriate for this recording.”
The news comes after ITV announced new international format The Chase Around The World.
Host Bradley Walsh said in a statement: “This bold new take on The Chase combines quizzing with travelling and will test contestant’s knowledge like never before.
“The Chasers are already famous around the world, so fans can look forward to seeing them ply their trade in some superb secret locations.”
The new spinoff series will see six pairs of contestants trying to track down the UK’s biggest brains in secret locations across the globe.
To do so, they’ll be putting their general knowledge, intellect, puzzle-solving and observational skills to the test as they try to discover landmarks and iconic spots.
The last duo to arrive at the destination will be forced to face the Chasers in a head-to-head battle which they must win to continue in the game.
In a joint statement, Sue Murphy, Director of Factual Entertainment Commissioning at ITV and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment at ITV, said: “The Chase Around The World is a really exciting new format taking the DNA of Britain’s most iconic quiz into epic real-world locations, in a high-stakes battle of knowledge.
“The show is full of surprises, problem-solving, and fantastic play-along for viewers. “Combined with The Chasers’ intellect and host Bradley’s inimitable wit, viewers are in for an absolute treat in this brand-new iteration of a much-loved brand.”
