It didn’t disappoint audiences, who couldn’t wait to see what Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) and Nigel Kipling (Stanley Tucci) were up to in the 20 years since they made their debuts in 2006’s The Devil Wears Prada.

They surprisingly loved it. The Devil Wears Prada 2 has a 77 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on over 300 reviews. In her review, Us Weekly‘s own Erin Strecker thinks “there’s plenty of charm left” in the follow-up, and I agree. The movie is the rare legacy sequel that isn’t a cheap cash-in; it also has something to say about fashion and publishing in 2026. It’s also just fun to see these characters again and, more importantly, what they’re wearing.
