The Last Dinner Party have confirmed Australian and New Zealand legs of their newly announced global tour, presented by Secret Sounds.
The UK indie rock band will perform in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth before heading across the Tasman for a show in Auckland next January (see full dates below).
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 12th at 10am local time. The Secret Sounds members pre-sale begins on Thursday, September 11th at 10am local time, while the Mastercard cardholders pre-sale commences on Tuesday, September 9th at 10am local time.
The upcoming tour marks the latest milestone in a meteoric rise that has seen the band win two BRIT Awards, including Breakthrough Artist, sell out a UK headline tour, and top the UK Albums Chart with their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy (2024).
The Last Dinner Party followed that up with the first single from their forthcoming second album From the Pyre, titled “This Is the Killer Speaking”.
The band describe their anticipated album as “a collection of stories, bound by the concept of album-as-mythos.”
“The Pyre itself is an allegorical place in which these tales originate — a place of violence and destruction but also regeneration, passion and light,” they said. “The songs are character-driven but still deeply personal, with everyday experiences pushed to their most extreme.”

“This record feels a little darker, more raw and more earthy,” they added. “It looks out at a sublime landscape rather than sitting at an opulent table. It also feels cheeky and metatextual in places, like a knowing look reflected back at ourselves.”
The Last Dinner Party’s From the Pyre is set to be released on October 17th, and can be pre-ordered here.
