Charlie Kirk made a surprise appearance in Kanye West’s new documentary In Whose Name?
The documentary was released on September 19 — just a little over a week after the conservative political activist and cofounder of Turning Point USA was murdered.
According to The U.S. Sun, Kirk and Candace Owens met with West, 48, during one of the lowest times of his career. While the “Gold Digger” rapper and Owens — who served as Turning Point USA’s communications director from 2017 to 2019 — spoke about their experience as Black public figures, the outlet stated that Kirk mostly remained silent during the conversation.

Kirk was shot and killed at the age of 31 on September 10 during the first stop of his American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University. Videos began circulating online shortly after the incident occurred and showed Kirk sitting in a white tent while addressing a crowd of people. A shot rang out and the dad of two was jolted backwards as chaos erupted around him. He was rushed to a local hospital and taken into surgery but later succumbed to his injuries.

Thirty-three hours after Kirk was shot, authorities arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson and charged him with aggravated murder. Robinson attended his first court hearing virtually and only stated his name during his appearance. His next court hearing is scheduled for September 29.
In Whose Name? was released on September 19 and follows West throughout six years of his career, including his controversial downfall.
