'The Life of a Showgirl': Taylor Swift's new album is so SECRET, only 5 people have heard the entire album, singer makes crew sign ironclad NDAs - Report

Taylor Swift, the ‘Mastermind’ singer, has kept her musical suitcase locked and an ironclad NDA ready for people who have been involved in the process. Only 5 people, including her closest friends and the engineers who created the music, have been allowed to listen to the project ahead of its October 3, 2025 release. Here’s a closer look at Taylor Swift and her strict regulations to maintain the secrecy.

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl‘ is SECRET

Everyone who was involved in the project, whether it’s the crew members on the music video set or contributors to create the music, has not listened to the entire album yet. “Everyone, from the writers, producers, studio engineers, and studio interns, went through a rigorous vetting process to make sure they could be trusted,” the Daily Mail report said.

Taylor Swift demanded NDAs and software to check the leaks

One of the processes included high-tech software, where they checked whether the file was shared with anyone outside of the core group. “Everyone was asked to sign ironclad NDAs and weren’t even allowed to discuss their contribution with family and friends. She really wants to keep it safe for her fans,” the report added.

Who has listened to the album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’?

The people who have heard the complete 12th studio album include her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, her longtime publicist, Tree Paine, the producers, Max Martin and Shellback, along with an anonymous studio engineer. Moreover, she made her record label wait as she didn’t want any disturbances. As mentioned by the billionaire singer herself, the album was made in Sweden when she was travelling for her Eras Tour’s Europe leg. To prevent any leaks and not ruin the experience for the fans, Taylor Swift decided to take strict measures throughout the creative process.

About ‘The Life of a Showgirl’

‘The Life of A Showgirl’ was announced by Taylor Swift on her boyfriend’s podcast, ‘New Heights,’ and will be released on October 3 this year. Moreover, the album would also see the anticipated collaboration between Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.
