Summer is finally here and everyone is getting outside and going on the road. The warmer months mean day parties and long nights, and June is already getting hot. Of course, we’ve got you covered with a whole new set of albums and songs to kickstart your vacation.
Some big fish are dropping this week, including the new album from Vince Staples, as well as Lizzo’s latest – with its headline-grabbing title. We also finally get the latest album from Houston rap staple Paul Wall, and new heat from none other than Smoke DZA. She doesn’t drop a new album, but the latest freestyle from Flo Milli is putting everybody on notice. And Tierra Whack has something to help prep you for her big Juneteenth drop.
Tinashe comes through with a hot new single, and if you love that country swagger,
Shaboozey’s new song’ll do it for ya. On top of that, dancehall icon Vybz Kartel is back with his new album. And Bryson Tiller is urging you to “drop the lo”–i.e. share your location.
And if you really need an indicator that it’s officially summer: Pitbull and Lil Jon drop their new single–and, of course, it’s a party anthem.

NEW SONGS
BRYSON TILLER – “DROP THE LO”
The singer-songwriter does what he’s always done best: deliver catchy, romantic bops that rest on this side of obsession. After a handful of musical experiments, it’s refreshing to hear Tiller leaning into what comes most naturally to him as an artist.
TINASHE – “TOO EASY”
She teased new songs were coming on her social media for days before she released her first new music in two years. Kimj and Zack Sekoff co-produce the song. It got its live premiere in April during her DJ set at Coachella’s Do LaB.
FLO MILLI – ‘SHE DA SHYT’ (FREESTYLE)
The Alabama rap star is letting you know who she is. She wastes no time getting to the goods on this bombastic freestyle, immediately flying into attack mode with the kind of “nya-nya” energy that made her a star.
GLENN LEWIS – “IMPRESSIONS”
The R&B veteran returns with this groovy midtempo single. Lewis is still one of the better vocalists to emerge during the 2000s, and his new track shows that he’s just at home outside of romantic balladry.
TIERRA WHACK – “WAX PAPER”
She’s got something coming. The Philadelphia-born artist has announced a new mixtape. But before she releases Whack’s Museum on Juneteenth, she’s just unleashed the first single.
BOBBY V – “SHE GOT IT”
The veteran R&B singer is back with this dreamy, piano-led single. It’s the kind of smooth crooning that made Bobby a household name in the 2000s, on a track that sounds like it could become a late night staple.
SY’RAI – “LATE NIGHT”
The voice is undeniable and she has the material to match–that’s a potent combination. Her famous family aside, she delivers the goods on this polished and infectious news single.
BRITTNEY SPENCER – “SOBER THOUGHTS”
Produced by Jarrad K, it’s a track about that feeling when your guard is down and the truth just comes out. Honest, a little vulnerable, and exactly what you’d expect from someone who’s never been afraid to go there.
DEVOUR – “PREVAIL”
Dedicated to the memory of his late brother, Joshua Villalobos. Released in honor of the 28th anniversary of Joshua’s passing (June 3), the record serves as a deeply personal tribute to his 1998 suicide.
DAHI FEAT. MOSES SUMNEY AND MEZ – “FIND ME”
One of contemporary music’s most influential and transformative producers taps the critically acclaimed art-pop singer Moses Sumney and lyrical mastermind Mez for his scintillating new single.
STEVE LACY – “THE FEELING”
His third album, the self-produced Oh Yeah?, is forthcoming in July. In the meantime, he’s setting the table and setting the tone with his first single of 2026.
PITBULL & LIL JON – “SATALANAAA”
Between the two of them, this duo is responsible for more Spring Break shenanigans and resort parties than almost anybody. The unveil their new collaboration, and you can almost see the Hawaiian shirts and pineapple drinks.
NIPSEY HUSSLE & BINO RIDEAUX – “RECKLESS”
The Nipsey and Bino joint project is coming very soon, and if it’s anything like this, it should be dope.
NATANYA – “CANDYLAND!”
It’s the kind of futuristic fizzy pop that made the Neptunes and Missy Elliott household names. This thumping club anthem is as sweet and sugary as it’s title suggests.
NINA SKY & STATIK SELEKTAH – “I’M NOT”
The sisters out of Queens team up with the production guru and the results are sublime. This gorgeous track highlights his ear for organic backdrops, and their uniquely sultry vocals.
ROB49 FEAT. SKILLIBENG – “BAD B*TCH”
A high-energy, heavy-hitting track perfectly blends ROB49’s gritty southern delivery with Skillibeng’s signature rapid-fire, melodic Jamaican flow to create a club and street anthem.
TOBE NWIGWE FEAT. LABRINTH – “ALL OR NOTHING”
The pairing that works even better than you might have anticipated. This track is from Tobe’s forthcoming album, but it showcases some pretty amazing musical chemistry. One can’t help but be excited for what he’s dropping next.
KXNG CROOKED – “WEST COAST ‘96”
A look back at a pivotal year in West Coast hip-hop as seen through his perspective. He bigs up the legendary drops of that year while also making it clear that he could stand with anyone.
JOSEPH SOLOMON – “HALF ON THE BLAME”
A mournful, somber ballad that expertly showcases his gritty, but soulful vocal style. It’s the perfect track that honestly examines where relationships go wrong and how you have to own your role in the heartache.
BIG FREEDIA & SOPHIE – “GO DOWN”
A collab featuring the late producer and Freedia’s larger than life persona. It’s a song that’s been floating around unofficially via online bootlegs for years, but now we get an official version.
HUS KINGPIN & MK ORTIZ – “YOU HEARD OF ME”
The rhymer out of Long Island is one of NYC’s most consistent artists over the past several years and he teams with the Spanish production whiz for this new single.
BLXST FEAT. SASHA KEABLE – “RUIN”
Labor of Love is due in mid-June; and this single features a winning guest spot from Sasha. Their chemistry and the groovy vibes throughout the track are undeniable.
FANA HUES – “RECOGNIZE”
Welcome back! In what marks her first new release in two years, the singer-songwriter out of Los Angeles is delivering this warm, emotionally resonant track that primes the listener for a heartfelt punch to the gut.
KELELA – “POINT BLANK”
She goes to an emotionally naked place on this drum ‘n’ bass and UK garage inspired track. The sonics are minimal and it’s perfect for the singer to be stripped bare, as she delves into some subject matter that’s fraught with emotions.
RICO NASTY – “RITUALS”
Nobody riots quite like Rico. And on her new track–produced by collaborator Kenneth Blume–she is going off. It marks her first new music since she dropped the deluxe edition of LETHAL-ER earlier this year.
JON BATISTE – “SHINE”
The uber-talent out of Louisiana is prepping a trilogy of projects and if this is an indication, the man sounds especially inspired.
SHABOOZEY – “COWGIRL”
The country crooner drops this foot stomper of a single–with a music video featuring Ciara Miller in a saloon, to boot. His fourth studio album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, is set to drop in July.

The rhymer out of Long Beach in his rock-rap bag on his new project. His first album released as an independent finds the rapper pushing his own creative boundaries, on an album that showcases his endlessly creative artistry.
LIZZO – ‘B*TCH’
She sounds like she’s done playing with y’all. After all of the controversies and commentary, the pop superstar is back with her most aggressively ambitious set as of yet.
SMOKE DZA – ‘ROAD TRIP TO AMSTERDAM’
DZA returns with this new 13-track project, which features appearances from Fivior Foreign, Cory Gunz, KYLE, Premo Rice, and several more.
PAUL WALL – ‘FORTUNE & GLORY’
The Houston rap icon is back with a project that serves as a reflection on legacy, growth, perseverance, and the journey that has made him one of the South’s most respected voices. A balance of signature slab culture anthems with more personal records.
IMANI IMANI – ‘PAPERCUT’
Kendrick Lamar saw the talent there. On her unexpected pgLang debut, the singer-songwriter presents a case study in longing but flips the scripts of the traditional power dynamics of love.
INAYAH – ‘THERAPY WASN’T ENOUGH’
This is as real as it gets. On her fourth album, she puts perspective on a public breakup and it gets deep, personal, and sometimes ugly.

She’s shown herself to be unafraid of tackling themes like self-discovery, relationships, and the dynamics of attraction in her music. The singer-songwriter continues to grow into herself with this strong extended player.
