SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Opera has released their single show tickets for their four shows for the 2025-2026 opera season.
This seasons’ shows include “Pagliacci,” taking place Oct. 31 through Nov. 2, 2025. The opera storyline features street performers that have arrived at their next performance stop, an Italian village in the countryside. David Bennett, the general director and CEO of San Diego Opera, says this is the perfect opera to open on Halloween.
The second performance of the season will be “The Barber of Seville,” playing Feb. 13-15, 2026. The popular opera is known to have some of the most popular opera music.

Then on March 27-29, 2026, the opera “Carmen” will be featured. Bennett says this opera is sure to have you singing as it features the iconic “Figaro, Figaro” line.
And finally, they will wrap the season with the “Fellow Travelers” on July 10-12, 2026 at the Balboa Theater.
Bennett also added that this summer the Civic Theater lobby has undergone an $8 million renovation. Tickets for the opera shows can be found at SDOpera.org.
