Another day, another scandal for MomTok. Hulu just dropped the first-look trailer for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3, and once again, things are getting messy with these Mormons. In just 40 seconds, there are arguments, tears, and talk of “Mormons gone wild.” Check out the clip below.
A “new scandal is about to rock MomTok” on SLOMW Season 3
The sneak peek at SLOMW Season 3 starts with the tease that a “new scandal” will rock MomTok. Although they don’t dive into details about what the scandal is, there’s a big chance that it has to do with Jessi Ngatikaura’s rumored hookup with Vanderpump Villa cast member Marciano Brunette.
Throughout the 40-second teaser, Jessi is in various states of disarray. In one clip, she’s bawling her eyes out. One second later, she’s shouting at someone, “You know nothing!” It’s a lot, and as Hulu said in their announcement, it’s “unholy levels of messy.”
“I’m going to go live and tell everyone about Jessi,” Taylor Frankie Paul cryptically warns at one point in the trailer.
“Things are going to get messy because people are going to start taking sides,” she later says in a confessional.
The Season 3 trailer comes right on the heels of the announcement that Taylor will be leading the next season of The Bachelorette. Plus, her Season 3 costars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck are dusting off their cha-cha heels for the upcoming return of Dancing with the Stars. Disney/ABC has fully invested in MomTok, and we’re not mad about it.
