The Toronto International Music Video Festival (TIMVF) is a multi-day celebration of the art of the music video — bringing together filmmakers, musicians, and fans to showcase creativity from across Canada and around the world. The festival blends screenings, panels, art showcases, and live performances to spotlight the people and craft behind music video production.
🎨 Friday, November 7 – Kickoff Concert & Art Gallery
Doors open at 6:30 PM. The festival opens at The Rec Room with a vibrant evening featuring an art gallery and performances from Toronto artists memyself&vi, Melo Griffith, and Quietlove — hosted by social media sensation Unsighted.
This is a 19+ event.
🎬 Saturday, November 8 – Music Video Screenings, Panels & Afterparty
A full day of music video showcases and discussions at Paradise Theatre, including:
Micro-Budget Music Video Showcase (11 AM): celebrating creativity on a shoestring budget.
Industry Roundtable – “Building from the Ground Up” (12:45 PM): featuring filmmakers Fatty Soprano, Jalal Kazemi, Noah Douglas (LilManPurse), and That Good Graphic on how they built their careers in music videos.
“It’s All Gonna Break” Documentary Screening + Q&A with Director Stephen Chung (2:45 PM): a special screening of the Broken Social Scene documentary followed by a live Q&A with director Stephen Chung.
Canadian Music Video Showcase (5:30 PM): highlighting standout videos from Canadian directors and artists.
International Music Video Showcase (7:15 PM): showcasing innovative music videos from around the world.
Afterparty at Teddy Beer (8 PM): a 19+ mixer for filmmakers, musicians, and festival guests to connect and celebrate.

The final day at Paradise Theatre features exclusive conversations and the festival’s signature awards event:
Through the Eyes: A Conversation with Jorden Lee & GOVI (12 PM): reflecting on the two’s collaboration through music videos.
Nominated Video Showcase Part 1 (2 PM): screening of nominated music videos.
Nominated Video Showcase Part 2 (4 PM): continued screenings of this year’s nominees.
TIMVF Awards Ceremony (6 PM): honouring excellence across categories such as Best Music Video, Best Director, Best Canadian Music Video, and more.
