Brittany Cartwright and Brandon Hanson have called it quits.
The Valley star, 36, confirmed the news during the Friday, October 10, episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast, declaring, “I’m single.”
“We actually did not last,” she continued, discussing her split from Hanson. “We were very good friends before we started dating. It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum went on to note that the breakup was amicable, adding that she hopes they’ll stay friendly with one another.
“We still care a lot about each other,” she explained. “It ended amicably, but I just could not do the long distance, and he’s got a lot of obligations with his three kids and jobs, and we lived three hours away, so it was just too tough to keep it going. We really cared about each other. Hopefully, we can remain friends, but it’s just something I didn’t see that was going to be able to continue in the future.”
Cartwright also slammed rumors that Hanson paid for her recent mommy makeover, which included a tummy tuck and new breast implants.
“Your girl is single and definitely nobody paid for my surgery but me,” she quipped. “I’m a boss baby, boss bitch, I got this. All by myself and I’m happy, actually.”
The Bravo star added that she plans to take a break from dating for the time being, saying, “I still got a lot of healing to do, a lot of learning to do, so I think being single for a little bit longer is what’s best for me. It was a short relationship, short couple of months.”

She concluded, “So [I] wish him the best, wish everything the best. It just wasn’t for me, it just didn’t work out. So I’m single, tell your friends.”
Us Weekly confirmed in August that Cartwright was dating Hanson following her split from Jax Taylor. “Brittany and Brandon have a lot in common and have bonded over their divorces,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “She is really happy and it feels good to have a genuine connection with someone again.”
Cartwright filed for divorce from Taylor, 46, in August 2024. The estranged couple share son Cruz, 4.
Hanson, for his part, separated from his wife, Jasina Stanko, earlier this year.
“His wife was made aware about Brittany in the last few weeks,” the insider explained to Us in August.

Last month, Cartwright said that she and Hanson were taking it slow, noting that they weren’t “technically boyfriend and girlfriend just yet.” She added that she had known Hanson for about 15 years, having met him in her home state of Kentucky.
“He’s a great person, great father, just all around a good person,” she said. “He’s making me happy. We’re just focused on having fun and doing our thing right now.”
At the time, Cartwright hinted that Hanson hadn’t yet met Cruz, and she wasn’t sure when she planned to introduce her new man to her son.
“Just seeing how it goes, taking the time,” she explained. “But he’s a great person. I really like him.”
