The View cohosts were uncharacteristically quiet after late night host Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by their shared company, ABC.
During the show’s Thursday, September 18 episode, the typically outspoken bunch chose not to address the controversial decision made by ABC just one day prior. Cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin avoided the topic entirely.
Instead, the panelist discussed topics such as FBI Director Kash Patel testifying before the House Judiciary Committee, and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, before celebrating Sara’s 48th birthday.
Schitt’s Creek alum Eugene Levy and former NFL star Terry Bradshaw also appeared on the program.

ABC announced their decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live! from air indefinitely on Wednesday, September 17, after receiving pressure from the FCC and multiple stations owners due to comments they deemed controversial.
“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel, 58, said to open Tuesday night’s episode. “In between the finger-pointing, there was, uh, grieving on Friday — the White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level, you can see how hard the president is taking this,” he sarcastically added.
