The View hosts slammed Pam Bondi after her combative testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on the Justice Department’s handling of the Epstein files.
“This was so personally disgusting and disappointing to me,” Ana said, comparing the 60-year-old’s behavior to a high school performance of Lady Macbeth, saying it was “just unacceptable and a show she’s putting on for Trump.”
Whoopi slammed Bondi, saying, “Your job is not to pander to the president. Your job is to look out for American citizens.”
Sunny called her “deeply unqualified, deeply unserious,” adding, “I am so disgusted. I am so saddened by the destruction of one of the biggest and strongest institutions in our country.”
Epstein survivors and family members of Virginia Giuffre in the courtroom, asked to stand and raise their hands if they had ever been asked to testify, and then to raise their hands if they had never heard from the DOJ.
“She never turned around and made eye contact with those women,” Whoopi noted, as Joy chimed in, “That basically tells you everything you need to know about her.”
The 83-year-old continued, “I felt a little nauseous from her. It’s like, why are you so lacking in empathy? What happened to you in your life that you can’t give a moment to these poor girls? The DOW is up as if these girls care that their 401 Ks are doing well when they’ve been molested by several of these disgusting men.”
Sarah jumped in, “This is about right and wrong. This was a crime,” before Joy warned, “When he’s out of office, he really is going to throw you under the bus, honey.”
The women of The View were not the only ones to criticize the AG for her bizarre behavior during the hearing. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel grilled Bondi during his opening monologue on January 11, accusing her of “shouting like a crazed dance mom” during the heated exchange.
“She’s something,” the comedian said, “This is the kind of woman who, if you lived next door to her, you’d move… You’d just relocate and never go back to the block.”
