“Married to Real Estate,” a home renovation series based in metro Atlanta, was recently revealed as Georgia’s favorite HGTV show, which is now officially canceled.
According to a new report from Realtor.com, Married to Real Estate topped the list as Georgia’s most popular HGTV show.
The study looked at viewership trends and search data to determine the most-watched home renovation show in every U.S. state.
Was Married to Real Estate cancelled?
Despite its popularity, especially in Georgia, HGTV announced the cancellation of Married to Real Estate in June 2025, after four seasons.
The announcement came from hosts Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson on Instagram. The show focused on helping Atlanta-area families find and renovate their dream homes.
“While the chain of events leading up to this is disheartening, we are deeply grateful,” the couple wrote. “Grateful for four incredible seasons.”
