See how Dollywood celebrates fall with Harvest Festival decorations
Dollywood’s annual fall festival runs until Oct. 27 bringing with it pumpkins, candy corn people and Halloween decorations.
Knoxville’s own Emily Ann Roberts is coming back to East Tennessee.
The up-and-coming country star will play the Celebrity Theater at Dollywood’s Harvest Festival this month before two shows at the Bijou Theater in November.
The hometown shows come right on the heels of the release of Roberts’ new EP “Memory Lane” on Oct. 3. Her latest project features 22 minutes of new music across seven tracks.
“Memory Lane” is the country singer’s third-longest project, falling just behind her 2017 gospel album “Bigger than Me” and 2023’s “Can’t Hide Country.”
Here’s what to know before the Karns High School graduate’s Dollywood appearances and Knoxville concerts.
Emily Ann Roberts to play Dollywood’s Harvest Festival
Roberts will headline a Dollywood stage Oct. 8-12 as a part of this year’s Harvest Festival.
Park visitors can catch the singer at the Celebrity Theater on Showstreet. She will perform at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. each day, according to the amusement park’s show schedule.
Robert’s set at Dollywood will last around one hour.
“Dollywood was one of the biggest highlights of my childhood,” Roberts said in a news release. “From the rides to the food to the shows, it fills my senses with the feeling of home in East Tennessee. I’m so honored to now bring my music to my favorite place.”
Roberts is one of many special performers who will play Dollywood this autumn. Other Harvest Fest acts include Sidewalk Prophets, Triumphant Quartet, Daily & Vincent, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, The Grascals and Keith Anderson.
Emily Ann Roberts’ tour in Knoxville
After her Dollywood sets conclude, Roberts will return to touring. Her tour began Friday, Oct. 3, in Paxton, Illinois.
She’ll come home to Knoxville for two concerts at the Bijou Theatre on Nov. 7 and 8.
Roberts originally was scheduled to play just one Knoxville show but added another night in the Scruffy City to accommodate the high demand from fans.
Both shows at the Bijou are sold out, according to Ticketmaster.
“Since my album release show in 2023, I have been dreaming of my next headlining concert in my hometown,” Roberts said in a statement announcing her return to the Bijou. “Knoxville will always be my favorite city to play because it’s where I fell in love with music in the first place. I’ve been working on new music and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
Roberts recently performed in Knoxville with country legends Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan and Deana Carter as part of the “Friends and Heroes” tour at Thompson-Boling Arena.
How did Emily Ann Roberts get famous?
Emily Ann Roberts got her start on “The Voice” with Blake Shelton as her coach in 2015. She was a Season 9 finalist but did not clinch the top spot.
That didn’t stop her journey to stardom. Since becoming “The Voice” runner-up, she has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, released multiple EPs and albums, toured with country legends and gained acclaim within the country music scene.
Dollywood won’t be her first big theme park appearance. In 2024, she provided the sweet southern voice behind Trixie St. Claire the bear in the refreshed Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
