Monday, October 27

LSU Chorale & Tiger Glee Club | University United Methodist Church

Music lovers can visit the University United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. for an enthralling choral music concert, featuring works for soprano/alto and tenor/bass choirs. During this musical performance, audience members will witness the talent and versatility of LSU’s treble and tenor-bass ensembles.

Tigerama 2025 | LSU Union Theatre

Featuring a combination performance from the LSU wind ensemble and Symphonic winds followed by a performance from the Golden Band from Tigerland, Tigerama is a celebration of the musical arts and LSU tradition. The show will start at 7 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.

Greater Baton Rouge State Fair | Airline Highway Fairgrounds, A BREC facility

The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair is a celebration of Louisiana culture and the Baton Rouge community. Fairgoers can enjoy thrilling rides, competitive games, tasty food, livestock shows and competitions and other family friendly activities from 5 to 10 p.m. The fair is ongoing until Nov. 2, but may close certain days due to weather. What Lurks in the Library? | LSU Library Front Lawn

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday this week, the LSU Library is hosting a Halloween-inspired event where students can learn about the many resources found around campus and the community. Attendees of this event have the chance to earn Halloween treats and win exciting door prizes.

“Sinners” Movie Screening | LSU Union Theatre

Grab a pillow and blanket and make your way to the Union Theatre from 7 to 9:30 p.m. for the Union Theatre Thespians first event. Admission is free for the screening, and popcorn will be provided for all who attend. If you haven’t seen “Sinners” yet, get ready for a thrilling movie filled with supernatural elements and historical symbolism.

Laughs on the Levee | The 121

In this Halloween-themed comedy night, the 121 is hosting two back-to-back comedy performances featuring quick-witted comedians from our region. The first show will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., while the second will be from 8 to 10 p.m. 30 minutes are built in before and after each show to allow patrons to find seating.

This event is 21+, and seating is on a first-come first-serve basis. Guests are encouraged to dress for this spooky occasion and relax into a night of laughter and drinks.

Center Lobby Costume Contest | LSU Student Union

Put on your best costume and make your way to the Student Union from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a chance to win the LSU-hosted costume contest. Participants can enjoy free food and drinks, as well as giveaways from student government, campus life, LSU dining and CocaCola. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place, so stick around for the results of the competition.

House of Halloween Bar Crawl | 350 3rd St.

In one of the biggest Halloween celebrations of Baton Rouge, 13 Social, a local dive bar, is shutting down downtown Baton Rouge for a Halloween night filled with spooky fun and special drinks. Enjoy DJ performances, decorated bars and the company of fellow crawlers as you make your way through downtown.

By purchasing a wristband for an event, you gain access to 9 bars with waived cover fees, exclusive halloween-themed drinks and bar-only discounts. Check-in is between 7 and 9 p.m., and everyone is encouraged to wear a costume. Participants must be 21 or older and bring a valid license to receive their wristband. Be sure to have a designated driver or plan to use a car pick-up service at the end of the night.

Trick-or-Treating | LSU Student Union

In celebration of Halloween, the Student Union is hosting an all-day event where guests can trick-or-treat around the Union. Maps are available at the Info Desk, and guests can enjoy spooky decorations and fun costumes as they explore the union, collecting treats along the way.

Saturday, November 1

Rumble in the Jungle | BREC Zoo

Visit the Baton Rouge Zoo for the first ever Rumble in the Jungle, where a variety of cars, from classic to custom, will be on display. In addition to cars, local food, drink and art vendors will be at the Zoo, and different events such as special animal encounters will take place throughout the day. The fundraiser will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and tickets can be purchased upon arrival.

Fun, Feasting, and Fundraising for our Furry Friends at FOTA | La Divina Italian Cafe

Enjoy live music and great food while supporting the Friends of the Animals during this fundraising event hosted at La Divina Italian Cafe. Donations of $5 or more earn a free gelato, while donations of $25 or more earn a chance to win a La Divina gift card and basket. At the end of the night, 20% of all proceeds will go to FOTA, so be sure to stop by between 6 to 8 p.m. for your purchase to count.

Family Fun with Crafts! First Free Sunday at the Castle | Louisiana Old State Capitol

During this month’s free Sunday event, The Capitol invites families for an exciting afternoon of Thanksgiving-themed crafts. Led by the Baton Rouge Key Club, children will get the chance to make colorful suncatchers to bring home while adults can enjoy the quiet of the museum for free. The event is from noon to 4 p.m., and registration is required to secure your spot.

Cap City Beer Fest | Downtown Baton Rouge on Fourth St between North St and Spanish

For a dog-friendly festival filled with a variety of craft beers, homebrews and food options, join the Companion Animal Alliance for their annual fundraiser. Between 2 and 5 p.m., attendees can try a multitude of drinks while enjoying music and games. To receive a wristband, you must be 21+ and have a valid license. VIP, General Admission and Designated Driver tickets are available for purchase here.
