ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – There’s more evidence that the Star City is also a Music City.
Fireside Collective will bring its blend of bluegrass, folk and Americana to the stage at 5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke this Saturday night at 8. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

Bluegrass fans can also soak up the sounds of The Steep Canyon Rangers.
They’re back in our area, performing this Friday night at 8 at the Harvester Performance Center in Rocky Mount.
Regular reserved seats are $66 each.

For more soothing sounds, acclaimed American cellist Anita Graef will perform at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke Friday night.
General admission tickets are $41, including fees.
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7.
Before she performs, Graef will host a cello master class at 5 PM

Widely considered the ultimate theatrical farce, “Noises Off” takes the stage at the Jefferson Forest Cavalier Theatre in Forest, now through Sunday.
Performances start at 7 PM Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 3 PM on Sunday.
Tickets are $15 each, $10 for students and seniors.

Collectors take note, The Salem Gun and Knife Show is happening Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Salem Civic Center.
Adults can get in for $10, and kids under 12 get in free with a paying adult.
