TikTok and Apple Music are beta-testing new, deeper integration features aimed at improving music discovery and social experiences within the short-form video app, according to reports in February 2026.
The new, in-app features, which are ‘Play Full Song’ and ‘Listening Party’, are designed to bridge the gap between social media browsing and streaming service consumption.
The first, which is called Play Full Song, allows people to stream entire tracks directly on TikTok without leaving the app by tapping into Apple’s MusicKit technology.
To use this feature, listeners must have an active Apple Music subscription, and full tracks will be clearly marked as coming from Apple Music.

The second new addition is a Listening Party feature, which is a tool designed to let fans experience music together in real time, creating shared listening sessions similar to older collaborative platforms.
Users in a session can tune in at the same time, making music discovery more social.
Both tools are currently in beta testing in selected regions (not yet including the United States, United Kingdom or European Union), and it’s still unclear when they’ll be rolled out more widely.
TikTok and Apple Music have worked together before for example, adding features that help users save or share songs between the two platforms but these new integrations take that partnership further by blending video, social interaction, and full-track listening.
