Ella Langley is back!
The country music superstar, 26, gave fans an update on her health since announcing she was dropping out of shows to focus on her health earlier this month. On Thursday, Sept. 4, Langley posted a large carousel of photos and videos showcasing her time away from the spotlight as she recovers from the undisclosed illness that pulled her away from the road.
“Couldn’t be any more grateful to have had some time to slow down and see all of the amazing things happening in my life,” Langley captioned her post. “Also, I have the best family and friends a girl could ask for. Truly. Thank y’all for allowing me this time too, and all of the messages that were sent in love and support.
“Time to get back to it 🤍,” she added, closing out her message to her fans.
In the 19-count video and photo display, Langley can be seen riding around on horses, reading her bible, making food, spending time outdoors by the water and with cats and dogs, enjoying family, and enjoying a late-night bonfire. The much-needed break from the hustle and bustle appears to have helped the singer/songwriter recover, as she also revealed, per an Instagram story, that she was getting hair-ready for what could be a public outing as her next show isn’t until Sunday, Sept. 7.
Earlier this month, Ella Langley Announced She Was Taking A Brief Break From Performing To Focus On Her Health
Langley’s latest Instagram posts come after she announced she’d be absent from some of the tour stops on her headlining trek as well as supporting dates on Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour and Riley Green’s Damn Country Music Tour.
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” the “Weren’t for the Wind” hitmaker captioned a post on Instagram on Monday, Aug. 11, letting folks know she was pressing the pause button. “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”
“Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love — it truly means the world to me,” she continued, adding that she was bowing out of her August run of tour dates. “I’ll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all.”
She Has Shows Scheduled Throughout The Fall
As Langley prepares to head back on the road, her schedule is stacked with upcoming back-to-back performances as a supporting guest on Wallen’s I’m The Problem tour, which takes place on Sept. 12-13 in Edmonton, Canada. Later this fall, she will return to her headlining Still Hungover tour. For a full list of tour dates, go to her official website here.
