Taylor Swift is entering a new era, with the singer now worth an estimated US$2 billion, according to Forbes.
Her fortune is made up of nearly US$800 million from royalties and touring and an estimated US$600 million music catalogue and roughly US$110 million in real estate holdings.

And Billie Eilish is set to make her big screen debut with the singer in talks to star in a film adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s novel, The Bell Jar.
Not much is known yet, but Sarah Polley is on board as director, with Billie set to play the lead, Esther Greenwood.
In other exciting casting news, Kate Winslet will soon call New Zealand home, when she heads over to film the new Lord of the Rings film, The Hunt For Gollum.
That one starst production in May.
Finally, Nicole Kidman has graced the cover of Variety magazine, looking phenomenal and reflecting on some of her career highlights.
She also made some rare comments about her divorce from Keith Urban, saying: “What I am most grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of ‘we are family’ and that’s what we will continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
