He shared with Free Press Journal that she was still alive when he found her hanging from the ceiling fan. He recounted, “I was the first to arrive, and with a locksmith’s assistance, we attempted to unlock the door. Our apartment had a balcony that was connected. We were trying to open the gate because even after ringing the bell, she didn’t respond. I attempted to break the lock. I had a sinking feeling. I thought perhaps she was intoxicated or asleep. The locksmith approached from the back and became frightened. His hands were shaking. The lock wouldn’t budge from inside because he got anxious upon seeing her hanging. When he finally opened the door and I looked up, she was suspended in a black satin dress. It was horrific. I mustered my courage and rushed her to the hospital. She was still alive during the journey. I even attempted CPR, but she didn’t survive.”
