Travis Kelce Breaks Social Media Silence for Taylor Swift originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is not exactly the most active individual on social media.
The last time he posted on Instagram was two weeks ago when he shared his heartfelt reaction to being part of Adam Sandler’s highly anticipated Netflix comedy “Happy Gilmore 2.”
Six days ago, the four-time All-Pro tight end commented on a post made by Garage Beer, which is an alcoholic beverage company he co-owns along with his brother, Jason Kelce.
His last post on X was on July 26, when he said that he was “too busy planting away” in the highly popular Roblox game “Grow a Garden.”
Kelce broke his social media hiatus on Wednesday night, though, and it was for a very special occasion. This came in the form of his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s album announcement.
“🗣️LETSSSS GOOOOO!!!! The Life Of A Showgirl!!! 🔥🔥🔥 @taylorswift12 #TS12” Kelce captioned his post.
In his post, Kelce shared a clip from Swift’s announcement of her upcoming 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” The multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter made the big reveal on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, and, as expected, it instantly sent Swifties into a spiral.
Kelce is now showing his support for his girlfriend as Swift prepares for the release of her new album on October 3.
Kelce has been very supportive of Swift’s career. The Chiefs star attended her “Eras Tour” concert multiple times during its nearly two-year stretch. Likewise, Swift has also been Kelce’s biggest fan, showing up for Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium as often as she can — even in between her shows at times.
Swift is expected to be in attendance for Kelce’s games this season as well, in what could very well be the decorated tight end’s last dance.
