Travis Kelce‘s ex, Kayla Nicole, is taking the high road as she implied in a new post that she doesn’t compare herself to other women after Taylor Swift seemingly took a dig at her in a new song.

As the singer and NFL star prepare to walk down the aisle, internet users have often accused Nicole of bringing up her past relationship with the football star to remain relevant.

However, Kayla Nicole previously suggested that she’s not bitter about Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift, explaining that she sees it as a compliment.

Kelce’s ex-girlfriend seems to be paying no attention to the chatter surrounding her as she took to her Instagram account on Friday to describe how mature and self-assured she is.

It came just hours after her ex’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, released her new album “The Life Of A Showgirl,” with netizens speculating that the singer dissed her on one of the new tracks.

Nicole seemed unbothered as she shared cute photos of herself from a dinner she attended, hosted by Hollywood Confidential in Los Angeles. In the picture, she rocked a brown silk dress with a halter neckline and styled her hair in a curly bob.

“What an honor to share a table with some of the most iconic ‘girlfriends’ of all time,” Nicole wrote in the caption of her post, per Page Six. “Women whose art has been a mirror and a reminder of what’s possible at every stage of my womanhood.”

Kayla Nicole Suggests She Doesn’t Compare Herself To Other Women

In another Instagram post, the 33-year-old podcast host appeared to clap back at the talks as she reposted a reel to her Instagram story featuring model Eva Marcille in an old scene from “America’s Next Top Model.”

In the post, Tyra Banks asked Marcille, “How do you compare yourself to the other girls out there?”

However, she responded: “I don’t compare myself to other girls. I’m Eva. I’m no comparison to anyone else.”

Nicole also reposted a meme to her Instagram Story that reads, “And when God gives you ball, BALL,” referencing a popular phrase that means to courageously take advantage of opportunities presented to you.

Taylor Swift’s Song Seemingly Dissed Kayla Nicole

Nicole and Kelce had an on-again, off-again relationship for over five years before reportedly splitting in 2022. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has since moved on with the “Bad Blood” hitmaker and is engaged to be married soon.

The host of the “Pregame With Kayla Nicole” podcast has been accused of consistently bringing up her past relationship with Kelce in interviews to garner attention. However, she addressed the reports, telling critics, “Life handed me lemons and I made a lemon martini out of it and that upsets people,” per Page Six.

Although Swift has yet to confirm if “Opalite” was actually a diss track, several fans noticed how some lines seemed to reference Nicole’s past with Kelce.

One of the lines in which Swift appeared to reference Nicole is when she said, “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”

The lyrics seem to imply that Nicole was with Kelce for clout, especially as a video of the football star complaining to her about being on her phone too much recently resurfaced.

Kayla Nicole Doesn’t Want The Opinion Of Others To Affect Her

After Swift and Kelce announced their engagement back in August, Nicole blatantly shut down questions on how she felt about the news.

She later told People Magazine that the biggest lesson she had learned in 2025 was that “the opinions of others are only as big as you make them.”

“So if I don’t allow it to affect me, it simply won’t,” she added. “You know what I mean? Sometimes on social media, we think that it’s the whole world, and it’s really not.”

Despite the situation, she expressed that she’s not bitter about her ex moving on with Swift, as she claimed on her podcast, that she sees it as a compliment.

On an episode of Nicole’s show, a listener called in seeking advice on getting over an ex, while acknowledging that her former partner’s new girlfriend is “hot,” according to Page Six.

Nicole replied, “I think as women, something we struggle with is admitting that the new girl might be popping, might be sh-t, might be really hot, and there’s no problem in admitting that.”

She compared the circumstances to losing a playoff basketball game to a team that goes on to win the championship.

“If you’re gonna lose, I want to lose to the best team now,” she continued. “I want you to move on and go do your big one. Make me look good. Right?”

Nicole explained, “It’s so much worse if the guy that you loved and you dated for so long and you’re so heartbroken over goes and dates a dud.”

“Now you look stupid, he looks stupid, we all look stupid [and] everyone’s questioning your taste,” she continued. “Like, ‘What the f-ck are you doing?'”
