Travis Kelce’s Personal Message About Relationship with Taylor Swift Goes Viral originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift fans.
Following the reveal that Swift will be the featured guest on the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday evening, she announced on her website—alongside a teaser clip from the show—that her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Show Girl,” is on the way. While no release date has been set, it’s expected to drop later this year.
Just hours later on Tuesday, Kelce made headlines again when “GQ Magazine” released a new cover story in which he opened up about his relationship with Swift, which began in 2023.

Gracing the cover of the magazine, Kelce shared a deeply personal reflection on how their romance started and quickly took off:
“Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people. When there’s not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love.,” Kelce said. “It can be perceived as something else because of how much it’s talked about and how closely we’re tracked whenever we go out, but it happened very organically—even though, from a media standpoint, it was being tracked. Nothing I’ve ever done has been a controlled, organized process. When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based on the people we were sitting in a room together with. We’re two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the [explicit] off.”
Kelce’s comments from the interview quickly swept across the internet on Tuesday morning, and he even spoke about her career. He praised the hard work she puts in, highlighting her record-breaking “Eras Tour,” which recently spanned nearly two years, crossed 23 countries, and featured 149 shows.
“To go out on a stage, on a computer, essentially, for three hours. The [Eras Tour] floor is literally—I’ve seen underneath that thing. It is a football-field-sized computer. You take that into Singapore, where it is scorching hot, and all of a sudden you’re feeling the fumes from the computer and you’re feeling the fumes from the sun and you’re doing a show for three hours with a lot of energy, bringing it every single song. That is arguably more exhausting than how much I put in on a Sunday, and she’s doing it three, four, five days in a row.”
