Claire is a violinist, guitar player, singer and songwriter; Ditson plays violin, viola and sings and Henson plays the piano and keyboards.
Claire has toured, performed and taught extensively in the United States, Japan, The Netherlands, India, Belgium and France. Rawckus magazine described her music as, “a dizzying array of emotions traveling on evocative tones ranging from folk-lite to sinewy flavors of alt-rock.”
The setlist of their program, called “Winter Songs,” includes original works, some drawing on poems by others, all designed to honor the shortest days and longest nights.
Tunes feature elements from carols, including “In the Bleak Midwinter” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” as well as “California Dreamin’” by the Mamas and the Papas.
