Another major development has surfaced for Paramount’s Tulsa King. While the network has not made an official announcement, new reports and recent comments from one of the show’s stars suggest that Armand Truisi meets a tragic end in Season 3 and the actor will not be returning.

Tulsa King Season 3 reveals what happens to Armand

Tulsa King Season 3 confirmed the fate of Armand Truisi, played by Max Casella, in Episode 6. In a conversation between Goodie and Dwight Manfredi, Goodie revealed, “They found Armand. Hung himself in some flophouse. Bottles everywhere.”

Earlier episodes hinted that Armand was headed to Colorado to reunite with his family, but Episode 3 established that he never arrived. The show dismissed earlier fan theories about him entering witness protection after his Season 2 betrayal and redemption.

Armand’s arc in Tulsa King began as Dwight’s nervous associate who betrayed him for money before helping the crew defeat Jackie Ming in Season 2. His off-screen death marked the end of one of Dwight’s most loyal yet troubled allies, leaving viewers with no scenes showing his final moments. The series depicted the revelation through dialogue rather than a visual sequence, confirming that Armand’s story had concluded permanently.

Max Casella on why he’s not in Tulsa King Season 3

Following Episode 6, Max Casella confirmed on Instagram that he would not return to the Paramount+ series. When a fan asked, “Are you ever coming back to Tulsa King?” Casella replied, “No.”

In another response, when questioned about his absence this season, he wrote, “They killed the character.” The comments appeared under a recent post of his artwork, where multiple fans expressed disappointment about his exit.

Casella’s confirmation aligned with the show’s reveal of Armand’s death, ending speculation about his character’s possible return. Fans noted that his storyline had concluded abruptly, with many in the comments writing messages such as “You will be missed” and “Hope it was a red herring.”

While the actor did not provide further explanation, his responses verified that Armand’s death was a creative decision made by the show’s team.
