With the year 2025 becoming a thing of the past and 2026 becoming our present, audio listeners alike gather in anticipation of what’s to come.
2025 brought students great music, and already, 2026 is becoming a very promising year.
On January 16 this year, American rapper and record producer Rakim Athelaston Mayers, better known A$AP Rocky, gave a well intrigued release for his album “Don’t Be Dumb.” Fans of the rapper recollect
“I really do like his music, [but] I would say it’s not my favorite. My forever favorite album would be “Live Love A$AP.” [The new album] is very melancholy and very his style but it will never be “Live Love A$AP.” Overall, I’m definitely a bigger fan of his wife than him,” said Vanessa Rodriguez (12).
Other students, such as Joseph Magna (11), are excited for the Grammy-winning American rapper Armando Christian Pérez, better known as Pitbull, to perform at a very local and well known local establishment.
“I’m very excited about Pitbull’s “I’m Back Tour” because one of his concerts will be in Rogers, Arkansas. It will be at the Walmart AMP stadium with special guest Lil Jon, and I’m excited because I love Pitbull’s songs, and even more so his memes.”
Aside from previously released music and tours that have already been planned, 2026 is a promising year for new up and coming releases.
