Modern hardcore punk trailblazers Turnstile shared the music video for their track “LIGHT DESIGN,” initially featured on the band’s seminal album NEVER ENOUGH, released back in June through Roadrunner Records. NEVER ENOUGH has faced massive acclaim since its release, currently holding five Grammy Award nominations across the rock, alternative, and metal categories. The record has also landed Turnstile a spot on NPR’s Tiny Desk series, and even earned recent praise from Sir Elton John himself.
Directed by frontman Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory, the “LIGHT DESIGN” music video, shot entirely in black-and-white, plays with light and open space to build upon the song’s far-reaching sound. The video’s treatment, through its artistic cinematography, further amplifies the track’s inherent themes of hope and acceptance.
Turnstile have recently wrapped up the U.S., U.K., and European legs of their ongoing NEVER ENOUGH Tour. On December 29, the band will hit the road once again for the tour’s Australia and New Zealand leg, touring with Basement as support. While the NEVER ENOUGH Tour is close to ending, the band have hinted at another round of dates for 2026.
