Organising more than 20 Brit Awards after-parties for the world’s biggest major label is quite the feat. Now Claire Haffenden is putting her experience to work for a wider range of clients with her new firm Haffenden & Co.
Haffenden was Universal Music U’s director of artist relations and events for more than 29 years until leaving the company in April this year.
Her new venture will operate across event production, artist liaison, brand partnerships, hospitality and VIP management for a range of clients.
“The creative landscape is shifting, and there’s a growing need for a more flexible, personal service that’s deeply in tune with individual needs,” she said in a statement.
“Whether it’s a major brand activation, artist launch, executive gathering, or a private celebration, we deliver every detail to the highest standard, with discretion, care, clarity and purpose.”
The new company is launching armed with testimonials from artists including Sheryl Crow and Enrique Iglesias, as well as former Universal execs David Joseph, Selina Webb and Darcus Beese.
