Stassi Schroeder is standing by a controversial parenting decision – no matter what the haters have to say.
The Vanderpump Rules alum, 37 – who shares daughter Hartford, 4, and son Messer, 23 months, with husband Beau Clark – documented her kids’ “first soda experience” before taking an international flight.
“I need to keep them up to prevent the jet lag and get them on schedule,” she captioned a snapshot of a bottle of Coca Cola and a glass shared to her Instagram Story on August 9. “Come for me. I DONT CARE.”
She also posted a follow-up video of Hartford sipping the sugary drink.
“Drink that up girl. No jet lag,” she wrote.

However, the child’s father clarified in the video that this would be the “only time” they were allowed to drink it.
“Yeah, so if you really love it, [it’s] only reserved for moments when we’re trying to prevent jet lag,” Schroeder chimed in.
When Hartford asked if she could have it again “tomorrow,” the reality star quickly said, “No.”
While it’s unclear if the mother of two’s plan worked or simply led to an intense sugar high, she did continue to document their trip on social media.
On Tuesday, August 12, Schroeder shared a carousel of photos of her family exploring the U.K. She also took to her Instagram Stories to post a snapshot from their visit to The Story Museum in Oxford.
