At age 76, Vera Wang is positively glowing. The legendary fashion designer recently shared a new photo of herself on Instagram and she looks absolutely radiant in the picture. Like, drop dead gorgeous.
With long and sleek hair parted to the side, a gorgeous cream blouse and beautiful natural makeup, Wang is seemingly aging backwards. She looks as youthful as ever. Drop the skincare routine, please and thank you, Vera!
Wang, who was attending the US Open in New York City, captioned the post “APRES TENNIS…🎾. CIPRIANI 👏🙏🤍🍝🍸,” and later shared several other posts of herself enjoying the event.
Age Is But a Number
In the comments on the post, comments flooded in about Wang’s youthful appearance.
“You are so beautiful💕,” wrote one fan.
“What a gift to look like this in this age😍👏,” noted one Instagram user.
“SHE DOES NOT AGE,” exclaimed another person, to which Vera gave a totally refreshing reply:
“We all do….😌.”

Vera blamed great lighting for her radiant complexion, saying in the comment section, “HEY GUYS. GREAT LIGHTING = CIPRIANI !!!!!”
However, Wang has proof beyond her appearance (and good lighting) of a youthful soul. For example, she just threw a lavish 76th birthday at Le Relais Plaza at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris this past June where she donned a boundary-pushing outfit: a low-cut black minidress and over-the-knee boots! She also sported a glittery gold temporary tattoo on her arm that read “76” to fully embrace another year older and wiser.
As well, despite selling her company of 35 years to WHP Global in 2024, the fashion designer stays very involved with the business as both the founder and chief creative officer. As Wang told Vogue Business in a December 2024 interview:
“It was the right combination for me and at the right time. WHP is in full growth mode, and there’s such an energy within what they’re doing and their ambition, passion and dedication, and I really feel very fortunate that they believe so much in me and my brand.”
Vera does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. Age is but a number and we could all learn something about aging from Wang: It is a gift and we should treat it as such!
(But, again, Vera, please drop the skincare routine also!)
