Broadway Cares’ newest annual concert event, Broadway Dream Roles, returned April 20 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (the current home of Moulin Rouge! The Musical). Tony winner Francis Jue (Yellow Face) hosted.
Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares, the evening featured a mix of Broadway favorites and rising stars
stepping into roles they have longed to play, but never had the

Performers also included Tony winner Santino Fontana (Tootsie), Sydney James Harcourt (CATS: The Jellicle Ball), Arielle Jacobs (Here Lies Love), Christiani Pitts (Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Tony winner Ali Stroker (Oklahoma!), Tony winner Lillias White (Hadestown, The Life), Jordan Fisher (Little Shop of Horrors, Hamilton), Hailey Hyde (The Outsiders), four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn (Chess, Fun Home), Jeigh Madjus (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), Donald Webber Jr. (Hamilton), and 2025 Jimmy Award winner Chris Hayes. Ragtime‘s Nichelle Lewis performed the Broadway Cares anthem penned by David Friedman, “Help Is on the Way.”
