Violet Grohl has released a new song called “What’s Heaven Without You.”
“What’s Heaven Without You” was inspired by David Lynch and released to coincide with the late director’s birthday on January 20th. As Violet sings longingly about needing to be with a partner, the homage to Lynch is apparent in its unique sound. Violet’s voice floats over the atmospheric and mysterious instrumental, creating a unique sound that’s both inspired by Lynch and boldly original at the same time. Listen below.
Grohl’s new track comes a month after she released her debut solo singles, “THUM” and “Applefish.”
