The top 10 list also includes other Indian movie stars and sporting icons like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar and many others.

In collaboration with global consultancy firm – Interbrand, Fortune India has released a first-of-its-kind study on the most powerful celebrity brands in India. The study goes beyond net worth, box office numbers, and endorsement fees to determine the engagement, trust, overall brand strength of celebrities.

With a brand value of Rs 3,542 crore, Virat Kohli is leading the list. According to the study, Virat’s brand value is backed by something larger than his humongous athletic fame and social media following. The cricketer’s top-notch performance on the field coupled with his association with A-list health brands have helped him emerge as the most powerful celebrity brands in the country.

Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan at Rs 3,017 crore and Priyanka Chopra Jonas at Rs 2,507 crore have bagged the second and third ranks on the list respectively.
Shah Rukh, with his unmatched fan following, influence, and engagement, is the most trusted face in Indian advertising. The report also sheds light on his long-standing relationship with one of the biggest automobile companies in the world, Hyundai. Spanning over two decades, his affiliation with Hyundai is an example of the trust and reliability associated with his brand image.
Priyanka, on the other hand, has fuelled her global visibility with her international projects and endorsements. Her formidable brand identity is built due to her commercial value, humanitarian work, and global influence.

The top 10 list is made up of other Indian movie stars and sporting icons like Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar and many others. After Virat, Shah Rukh, and Priyanka, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is on the fourth position.
With a brand value of Rs 2,141 crore, Dhoni is one of the trusted celebrity endorsers even after stepping away from international cricket.
Ranveer Singh ranks fifth on the list with a brand value of Rs 2,077 crore. Akshay Kumar is at the sixth position with a brand value of Rs 2,064 crore. Despite a string of commercial failures, he remains one of the most trusted commercial faces.
Veteran Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has achieved the seventh spot with a brand value of Rs 1,933 crore.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar ranks eighth with a brand value of Rs 1,676 crore. Even years after retirement, Tendulkar commands one of India’s most powerful celebrity brands.
Apart from Priyanka, Alia Bhatt is the only other woman in the top 10, landing the ninth position with a brand value of Rs 1,606 crore.
Pushpa star Allu Arjun is at the tenth place with a value of Rs 1,522 crore. The Telugu has scored highly on affinity, distinctiveness and engagement, making him one of the fastest-growing celebrity brands in the country.
