Hallmark Channel launched its “Summer Nights” August movie event with a three-part limited series, Providence Falls. Based on a bestselling series from authors Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets, the series follows Liam (Lachlan Quarmby), Cora (Katie Stevens) and Finn (Evan Roderick) across centuries. Liam tries to stay out of love with Cora while playing matchmaker between her and Finn, who are destined to be together.

In this week’s final movie, Thief of Fate, Liam and Cora continue on with their case. But what is the aftermath after that steamy kiss last week?! Can Cora possibly have eyes for anyone else? If they go against Fate once again, what will that mean for their future and everyone else involved? Matter has starred in multiple Christmas movies for Hallmark as well as the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and Rip in Time. He has also starred in Eureka opposite Hallmark alums Kavan Smith, Erica Cerra, and Colin Ferguson and Primeval: New World opposite Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, Sara Canning, and Geoff Gustafson.
