Nov. 11 (UPI) — A24 released a new 2 1/2-minute trailer for its upcoming movie Marty Supreme on Tuesday.
Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher co-star in the film, which is set for theatrical release on Dec. 25.
Uncut Gems auteur Josh Safdie wrote and produced the project about the titular, confident ping-pong player (Chalamet) who tries to use the sport to make a better life for himself and his family.
Paltrow plays a woman he sleeps with who asks him what his backup plan is if his dream doesn’t work out.
“That doesn’t even enter my consciousness,” Marty says.

“Maybe it should,” Paltrow’s character warns him, to which he simply smiles in reply.
Later in the preview, Marty is heard saying: “It’s every man for himself. That’s just how I grew up.”
