It’s Royal Ascot 2026 Week. For more than two centuries now, the British Royal Family and a who’s who of the horse racing world have gathered at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England to witness the multi-day meet, featuring one of the richest combined purses in all of thoroughbred racing. And for the 10th straight year, NBC Sports is along for the ride.
While much of the Royal Ascot 2026 action has been on Peacock all week long, the biggest broadcast day of the event for NBC Sports this year comes on Saturday, June 20, when the final seven races will air live on NBC and Peacock. Here’s how to watch.
How to Watch the 2026 Royal Ascot on NBC
Coverage of the 2026 Royal Ascot began Tuesday morning on Peacock, and streamed all week, with coverage on Peacock kicking off each day at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Saturday’s races, the final races of the 2026 event, mark the only time that NBC and Peacock will simulcast the 2026 Royal Ascot. Coverage on NBC and Peacock begins at 9 a.m. ET, and will include the final Royal Procession of the event, and the final seven races, headlined by the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes and its one-million-pound purse.
Britney Eurton and Nick Luck will host NBC‘s coverage of the Royal Ascot, with analysis from NBC News’ Steve Kornacki and on-site reporting from Dylan Dreyer from the Royal Enclosure. Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey will serve as fashion and lifestyle correspondent for the event.
What is the Royal Ascot?
The modern Royal Ascot event, featuring the Royal Procession and the close involvement of the Royal Family, has now run for more than 200 years. The history of the Ascot racecourse association with the Royals dates back even further.
Featuring 35 races held across five days, eight of them Group 1 contests, the Royal Ascot also marks the first of the European races in this year’s Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series, including the King Charles III Stakes, the Prince of Wales Stakes, the Norfolk Stakes, and more.
