The track became popular when singer-songwriter Tucker Pillsbury began bringing guests to the stage to cameo as “Sally” at concerts. In the weeks leading up to the festival, the internet buzzed with speculation about who Austin’s “Sally” would be.

Popular guesses included Billie Eilish — whose brother Finneas played with his new band, the Favors — or favorite Austin son, Matthew McConaughey, who participated in a session with Brené Brown on the Bonus Tracks stage on Friday.
The real weekend two “Sally” threw us for a loop: indie darling Lizzy McAlpine.
