When The Real Housewives of New York Season 15 ended, the show’s fate moving forward was uncertain. There was such a deep divide between some of the cast members. Would they ever be able to film together again? Would the show be recast?
Since then, speculation has circulated over which women, if any, might return for Season 16. After Brynn Whitfield announced she was stepping away from the show, the rest of the RHONY cast remained on hold.
But recently, Erin Lichy suggested that not only could she soon return to the show, but some of her former castmates might as well.
RHONY fans are desperate for news on the Season 16 cast
On November 4, Erin attended Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year Awards in New York City. On the red carpet, the topic everyone wanted to know about was the fate of RHONY.
When Entertainment Tonight asked if she was hoping to return to the show, the smile on her face said it all. “Yeah, definitely,” she responded. “I think we need to see this through. We need to pizzazz it up a little bit. We’re not done.”
When the reporter confided that she was hoping both Erin and Sai De Silva would return for Season 16, the mom of four spilled some major tea. “I think it’s going to be more than just me and Sai. I’ll just say that,” Erin confessed.
When the reporter pressed for info about whether Jessel Taank would also return, she cryptically replied, “Maybe, maybe.”
Furthermore, Erin posted an Instagram video of herself hanging out with Sai, Jessel and Jenna Lyons. Dancing to Janet Jackson’s “Together Again” playing in the background, it seemed like a pretty major hint that all was well with the friend group.
In an October visit to Watch What Happens Live, Erin told Andy Cohen that she’s still friends with “many” of the RHONY women. However, her relationship with Brynn was permanently fractured after the way Season 15 ended.
