When “Weird Al” Yankovic last performed in Grand Junction in 2022, he filled the downtown Avalon Theatre and performed some of the deeper cuts from his catalog.
This week, Yankovic returns to Grand Junction, but this time, he’ll be performing at the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park — and he’ll be playing many of his biggest fan-favorite hits, along with some songs he’s never performed live before this tour.
The five-time Grammy-winner’s “Bigger and Weirder 2025 Tour”, featuring guest Puddles Pity Party, rolls through Grand Junction on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m.
The show will feature a giant video wall, multiple costume changes, and an eight-piece ensemble featuring Al’s original band, providing attendees a silly start to their weeks after the long Labor Day weekend.
“This is kind of a ‘best of both worlds’ tour’,” Yankovic said in a statement. “We’ll be doing all the big crowd-pleasing parodies as well as some deep cuts for the hardcore fans — but with twice as many players on stage, everything is going to sound twice as good!”
Tickets are still available for the show, with prices as low as $46 for lawn seats. For ticket information, visit theampgj.com/upcomingevents/weird-al.
