Check out the latest injury updates for Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino after he left Saturday’s game vs. the White Sox.
Vinnie Pasquantino exited Saturday’s game between the Royals and White Sox in the first inning due to a heat-related illness.
The first baseman met with a trainer during his nine-pitch at-bat in the bottom of the first inning. It initially seemed that he injured himself on a swing, but it’s instead an illness.
John Rave entered the game to play left field and Nick Loftin moved from left to first base to take Pasquantino’s spot.
Pasquantino is out for the remainder of tonight’s game and does not have a timetable for return. Considering it’s a heat-related illness, he could return as soon as tomorrow.
