Mel Owens‘ season of “The Golden Bachelor” is flying by.
The first two episodes aired Sept. 24, where Owens met the 23 women who would be vying for his heart over the next few weeks. That night, 10 women were sent home, leaving just 13.
During last week’s episode, there was a comedy roast co-hosted by comedian Jared Freid which included 12 of the women. The funniest one, Nicolle, got herself a one-on-one dinner with Owens. Then, Debbie got a private cooking lesson with Owens and Michelin-starred chef Ludo Lefebvre. Finally, Kathy and Susan from “The Golden Bachelor” Season 1 hosted a slumber party for the women where some secrets spilled.
Four women were sent home and only nine contestants remain heading into tonight’s episode. There will be a one-on-one date at the Orange County Fair and a surprise concert. Eight women will go to Malibu Beach for a photo shoot hosted by People magazine’s Editor-at-Large, Janine Rubenstein. Lastly, there will be a tailgate-themed cocktail party before another emotional rose ceremony.
