Heidi Grace Engerman reprised her role of Lainey this week on The Bold and the Beautiful. Lainey was one of the many guests invited to Will’s party at Il Giardino. The youngest Spencer son got promoted at Forrester Creations, which is an exciting moment for him. However, Lainey stole the spotlight, leading fans to want to know more about the actress.

According to her Instagram bio, Engerman describes herself as an “actress with a past.” That past is from her roots in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She traveled to Los Angeles to start her acting career, where she scored a gig with B&B. But it’s not her first acting gig. According to her IMDb profile, her other acting credits include Candyman (2021), Chicago Fire (2012), and Out Come the Wolves, the latter of which is in post-production.

College Bound

According to her LinkedIn profile, Engerman pursued a degree in marketing and theatre at the University of Miami. Prior to that, she spent a semester studying theatre through an abroad program at Queen Mary University of London. Engerman is not only an actress but also a model. During her time in Miami, she worked as an intern for Select Model Management.

Taking Risks

In an interview with Coral Gables Magazine in 2021, Engerman talked about her big move to New York City to embark on her career in acting. “Although I have a business degree, I’m ready to give 100 percent of my attention to theater. There’s nothing in life that I want to do more,” Engerman said at the time.

She envisioned a different life for herself. However, her career has gone even further. The actress revealed why she wanted to make this big change. “It’s really scary, but I want to do this, and you have to make those sacrifices to get where you want to go,” she noted.
