The holiday season is finally here, and Netflix’s December lineup looks like the gift that keeps on giving.

The streamer’s upcoming TV slate includes new seasons of returning favorites, like “Emily in Paris” and “Owning Manhattan,” plus the remaining volumes of “Stranger Things” to conclude its epic final season.

There’s also 50 Cent’s hotly anticipated docuseries about the rise and fall of Sean “Diddy” Combs following his numerous misconduct allegations, high-profile trial and conviction.

Meanwhile, Netflix’s film list for the month features a heartfelt drama starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler (“Jay Kelly”), as well as the latest installment of the “Knives Out” franchise (“Wake Up Dead Man”).

Of course, the streamer’s new releases wouldn’t be complete without a few Christmas-themed titles, too, like “With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration.”

Check out the list ahead to see the rest of what’s heading to Netflix this month. And if you want to stay informed about all things streaming and entertainment in general, subscribe to the Culture Catchall newsletter.

Here’s everything new and streaming on Netflix in December.

TV

‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’

Over the past two years, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ fall from grace on account of his many sexual misconduct allegations has been well documented in the public eye, from a high-profile trial to a handful of scathing documentaries. The latest to arrive is “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” the highly anticipated documentary event executive-produced by 50 Cent.

Per the doc’s description, the four-part series will offer a “staggering examination” of the once-lauded music mogul and now convicted offender, with never-before-seen footage and interviews with those who were formerly in his orbit.

‘With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration’

The Duchess of Sussex is spreading some Christmas cheer this month with a special installment of her lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan.” This holiday-inspired edition invites viewers into Meghan Markle’s home in Montecito, California, as she shares some seasonal tips and tricks right from her kitchen.

Special guests joining Markle this time include Naomi Osaka, Lindsay Roth, Tom Colicchio, Will Guidara and Kelly Zajfen.

Get ready for a Western showdown between Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey in the upcoming drama, “The Abandons.” Set in the 1850s, the series follows the matriarchs of two different families — one wealthy and privileged, the other full of orphans and outcasts — whose fates are linked by “two crimes, an awful secret, star-crossed love and a piece of land over a silver lode,” the show’s synopsis states.

In addition to Anderson and Headey, the show also stars Nick Robinson, Diana Silvers, Lamar Johnson, Natalia Del Riego, Lucas Till, Aisling Franciosi and Toby Hemingway.

‘Owning Manhattan’ Season 2

“Owning Manhattan” is back with another season of fierce real estate competition in New York City and beyond. Once again, following the elite agents of Ryan Serhant’s brokerage, the eight-episode season will feature more high-stakes deals, office clashes and even some surprising twists.

Those returning to the show include Serhant, Chloe Tucker Caine, Jordan Hurt, Jordan March, Tricia Lee, Nile Lundgren, Jade Shenker, Jess Markowski, Jessica Taylor and Jeffrey St. Arromand.

Rowan Atkinson is back as the bumbling Trevor Bingley in “Man vs Baby.” The new comedy, a follow-up to Netflix’s “Man vs Bee,” sees Trevor trade in his housesitting gig to become a school caretaker — that is, until he gets a tempting offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas break. But when no one comes to pick up Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor gets stuck with another unexpected companion and more silly shenanigans.

‘Emily in Paris’ Season 5

Finally, Emily is back, but she’s no longer in Paris. Now the head of a marketing agency in Rome, Emily (Lily Collins) faces new challenges as she adjusts to her surroundings. When things backfire (as they always do), she tries to lean into her French lifestyle, only for a big secret to threaten one of her closest relationships.

The Season 5 cast includes Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman and Arnaud Binard.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Vol. 2 & 3

The end of the last season of “Stranger Things” is almost upon us. After Will’s (Noah Schnapp) awakening in Volume 1’s big battle, there’s clearly much more to be revealed about his powers, which our heroes will need to rely on as they try to defeat Vecna once and for all in the final episodes.

Starring in Season 5 are Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, Winona Ryder and David Harbour.

Release Date: Volume 2: Dec. 25, Series Finale: Dec. 31

Movies

The sequel to Netflix’s hit monster movie promises another epic adventure in “Troll 2.” This time around, the film finds the Norwegian armed forces facing their most perilous mission yet when a dangerous new troll is awakened and starts wreaking havoc across Norway. As the monster’s rampage ensues, Nora (Ine Marie Wilmann), Andreas (Kim Falck) and Kristoffer (Mads Pettersen) must race against the clock to save their homeland from falling into darkness.

A world-famous movie star goes on a journey of self-discovery in Noah Baumbach’s “Jay Kelly.” The dramedy follows the titular actor (George Clooney) as he and his longtime manager (Adam Sandler) embark on an unexpected, whirlwind trip through Europe to confront the life choices they’ve made, the relationships they hold dear and the legacies they’ll leave behind.

‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’

Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is back to solve another impossible murder in the third installment of Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out” series. This time, the famed investigator teams up with a young priest (Josh O’Connor) at a small church in upstate New York, as he takes on his most personal case yet.

The movie’s ensemble cast includes Craig, O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Hade.

Kate Winslet makes her directorial debut with “Goodbye June.” The film centers on a messy yet affectionate family, as they gather around their mother’s deathbed just before Christmas to grapple with grief, their own complicated dynamics and a heartbreaking final goodbye.

The cast includes Winslet, Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, Helen Mirren, Stephen Merchant, Fisayo Akinade, Jeremy Swift and Raza Jaffrey.
