A Wheel of Fortune guest found some things concerning about Ryan Seacrest’s hosting behavior.
The 50-year-old host has officially been on the hit game show for a year.
Despite his time to transition, viewers are still picking up on his “awkward” on-air stage habits. While one fan attended a live taping of the Wheel of Fortune, they noted the host “kept losing his train of thought.”
While speaking to the Daily Mail, the guest claimed, “The producers kept having to help him. It was hard to watch because he forgot names and had to refer to his notes a lot.”
They also mentioned Ryan appeared “super skinny.”
This comes shortly after another source gave insight into his strenuous schedule.
“Ryan doesn’t sleep,” they claimed. “He does his radio show, American Idol, and Wheel of Fortune, then he’ll have meetings on other shows he is trying to produce, he will do voiceovers, commercials, and deal with his charity.
“Add all that to then just living life. Whether it is a vacation or dating, or working out, he burns the candle at both ends and that isn’t going to stop.”
The source said it is going to “take something serious for him to stop.”
Reportedly, Wheel of Fortune tried to lessen his load earlier this year. According to Radar Online, the show was going to give him a “big” long term deal that could have made Ryan the first game show host to make $50 million a year. Despite the legendary deal being enticing, it would have come at a cost.

The insider confessed, “The only way a $50 million payday is possible is if Ryan scales back his other full-time gigs and makes a more exclusive commitment to the franchise.”
While it could have freed up some room in his busy schedule, the host allegedly wasn’t interested in being tied down by one project.
“Ryan’s not the kind of guy to lock in and sign here,” a source told Closer. “He wants freedom and control and refuses to be pigeon-holed, and his obstinate stance is driving bosses crazy.”
Ryan hasn’t slowed down since 1993, when he first appeared on the scene as the host of the ESPN show Radical Outdoor Challenge. His longest working relationship has been with American Idol, which he has hosted since 2002, when Kelly Clarkson became the reality competition’s first-ever winner.
The host earns an estimated $12 million per season on American Idol, which isn’t even half of how much he is currently making at Wheel of Fortune.
