This artist thought He was painting a simple moment from His evening walk few days ago
But what He didn’t know, was that He was actually unknowingly capturing something that would soon disappear forever
His name is Calum, and on a casual walk home He noticed something unusual – a streetlight surrounded by the branches and leaves of a tree
And after thinking – “that street light has no business being in that tree”, He realized there was something beautiful about it
So He decided to capture this peaceful moment where human craft and raw nature crossed paths
But that’s when something unexpected happened
Just few days after the painting was finished, the tree was cut down
Meaning – this painting titled “The Light In The Leaves” is actually the only place where this tree still exists
