Someone told this artist that she can’t paint a black dog because it has ‘no colors’ in it.
So she decided to kindly demonstrate just how colorful ‘black’ can actually be
Her name is Tori and her mission is to turn people’s pets into lasting memories adding a joyful and colorful spin to them
And people are loving it, but there was one person who insisted that black fur has nothing to work with
So Tori accepted that challenge — and pushed it even further
Instead of relying on black at all, she used some clever color-theory magic.
She layered deep blues, purples, and greens in just the right places, creating the perfect illusion of a color that isn’t even there
Then, with a few final highlights, she brought the whole portrait to life — and that’s how another best friend found their place on canvas
