NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just got married at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The guest list was a parade of celebrities, including a handful of country stars.
Before switching to pop with her fifth studio album, “1989,” Swift was once a country star herself.
A few of the stars in attendance were The Chicks, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Kimberly Schlapman and members of Little Big Town.

Many of the country stars Swift invited were former collaborators and/or friends.
In 2015, Swift invited Lambert onstage during the Greensboro, North Carolina, stop of her 1989 World Tour. The two performed “Little Red Wagon.”
Morris and Swift have been frequent collaborators over the years. They first shared the stage in 2018 in Arlington, Texas, performing “The Middle” during the Reputation Stadium Tour.
Morris also provided vocals on Swift’s song “You All Over Me,” from “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” in 2021.
Ballerini explained how she was compared to Swift early in her career, but the two later became friends.
Swift wrote the song “Better Man,” but after it did not fit on her album “Red,” Little Big Town recorded it. Swift later rerecorded it in 2021 for “Red (Taylor’s Version).”
In 2019, Swift collaborated with The Chicks on the song “Soon You’ll Get Better” from the album “Lover.”
Other wedding details
In addition to country stars, former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel and his wife, Jen Vrabel, also made their way to the wedding.
At the wedding, Swift and Kelce did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
According to The Associated Press, the bride’s and groom’s outfits were designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture and its designer, Jonathan Anderson, with shoes custom-made by Christian Louboutin.
Swift and Kelce’s big donation to Dolly Parton
Although one of country music’s biggest icons did not attend, Dolly Parton posted a video on the morning of Swift and Kelce’s wedding thanking them for donating $2 million to the Imagination Library.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude,” Parton said. “Now, it’s evident that you two have made giving back a key part of your life. So, hey, when you have your firstborn, can I have it? Because that is going to be one special baby.”
