Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, and Marissa Long are all set to join the new season of the hit HBO series. Bonham Carter and Messina had previously been reported to be in talks for roles this season, but it had not been official until now.
As is usually the case with “The White Lotus,” exact character and plot details are being kept under wraps. The new trio joins previously announced cast members Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Alexander Ludwig, and Aj Michalka.
As previously reported, Season 4 will take place in France, including Paris and multiple locations along the French Riviera. Series mastermind Mike White is the writer, director, and executive producer. David Bernad and Mark Kamine also executive produce.
Her appearance in “White Lotus” will mark Long’s television debut.
