Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner has moved on with new husband Josh Connor.
The couple were first romantically linked in July 2023, two months after Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner after 18 years of marriage. Their relationship was revealed when Connor and Baumgartner were spotted on a trip to Hawaii that summer.
Connor proposed to Baumgartner in January 2025, surprising her during a date night out. They got married in October of that same year, exchanging vows at the Santa Ynez Ranch in Santa Barbara.
“It was magical — truly,” a guest told People of the nuptials. “The setting was gorgeous, but what made it special was the intimacy of it all. This wasn’t a big production. It was authentic, heartfelt, and so very them. Everyone there felt like they were witnessing something really precious.”

Connor graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
2. Connor Started His Own Company
He founded Connor Capital SB in 2016, which “focuses on equity investments in transportation and transportation-related companies,” according to the business’ website. Connor Capital has made more than 10 investments since its inception.
Connor also acts as the cochief executive officer and coportfolio manager at Duration Capital Partners, which he founded in 2024.
3. He Has an Impressive Resume
Prior to becoming the lead of two companies, Connor had a 15-year stint at Morgan Stanley where he acted as the cohead of the company’s Transportation & Infrastructure Investment Banking Group.
In 2013, Connor took his talents to Barclays where he was a managing director and cohead of the Industrials Banking Group. He also started working as a coportfolio manager at Oaktree Capital in 2017 and held that role until 2024.

4. Connor Is a Father
Before he married Baumgartner, the financier was married to a woman named Patricia. The former couple finalized their divorce in January 2023. Throughout their marriage, they welcomed three kids, daughters Lily and Abigail and son John.
5. Connor and Baumgartner Have History
Coster was friends with Connor before he started dating the actor’s ex-wife. Connor and his family actually lived down the street from Costner and Baumgartner.
Court documents obtained by Us in August 2023, stated that Costner “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid.” This came after Baumgartner requested financial documents in their divorce battle. (Costner denied having any “extramarital romantic relationships” throughout their marriage.)
Baumgartner testified that same month she and Connor were just friends before she and Costner split.
